Neither “tough on crime” nor “soft on crime” is effective. We must find the balance between accountability and empathy to be “smart on crime.”
Victim-Centered Prosecution
Victims must be heard at every step during a criminal case, and all rights in the Victims’ Bill of Rights must be scrupulously respected.
Accountability & Transparency
Leadership must be active, ethical, and transparent to restore trust in the County Attorney’s Office.
Community Partnerships
No person is an island. Crime is a problem that affects our entire community and it will take our entire community to find the solutions.
Fiscal Responsibility
Every dollar that the County Attorney’s Office spends should be done meaningfully with no tolerance for waste.
